Destiny
Destiny’s Master;
Maybe not so much.
The road behind
Is long,
The road ahead
Not so long.
The light,
With a pall of gray;
The darkness,
With a light dimming.
Laughter,
With a tear.
Sorrow,
With a smile.
Possibilities,
There are a few.
Possibilities,
Not so many.
Destiny’s Master?
Yes.
Maybe not so much.
The road behind
Is long,
The road ahead
Not so long.
The light,
With a pall of gray;
The darkness,
With a light dimming.
Laughter,
With a tear.
Sorrow,
With a smile.
Possibilities,
There are a few.
Possibilities,
Not so many.
Destiny’s Master?
Yes.

Destiny's Master? Yes? Only a blind man would think so; he wouldn't see the train coming.

At least you are still aware and can see the possibilities. The number of them is not that important....but the fact that they always exist is.

Destiny's Master...
But what if there is no laughter, and no tears left...

Lili: Sometimes the blind guy gets lucky and can hear the train coming.
Melinda: Yes, even though the choice is oft between a rock and a hard place.
Poet Girl: Then you allow someone to take you in their arms and give you some of theirs.
Blazn: There comes a time when "we will fight no more forever" seem prudent.

actually, no one - I don't care who ... can see a true "ahead" ...only behind ... one can then surmise about what lies ahead but life is funny and liable to throw loops when you least expect them..

Sure, but it's hard to know which way to run.
